Privacy Policy

Pasoteca is a practice app for dancers. This policy explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it. In short: your videos and moves are yours, they are used only to run the app for you, and we do not sell your data.

Who we are

Pasoteca is operated from the Netherlands. You can reach us at dumadata@gmail.com for anything about your data.

What we store

• Your account: email address, display name and profile picture, and how you sign in (email, Google or Apple).
• What you create: class videos, move clips and their preview images, names, notes, dance styles, ratings, practice sessions and practice time.
• Your class schedule: the days and times you enter for class reminders.
• Purchases: whether you have Pasoteca Pro. Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
• Usage and crash data: a small set of app events (for example "class added" or "practice finished") and crash reports, so we can see what works and fix what breaks.

Why we use it

To run the app for you: store your library, sync it between your devices, remind you at class time, unlock Pro, and keep the app working. We rely on our contract with you (providing the service you signed up for) and, for usage and crash data, on our legitimate interest in keeping the app reliable.

Who processes it for us

• Google Firebase (Google Cloud, EU and US): accounts, database, video storage, notifications and app analytics.
• Sentry: crash and error reports.
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google Play: subscriptions and purchases.

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside the EU under the safeguards required by the GDPR. We do not sell or rent your data, and we never use your videos for advertising or to train anything.

Sharing

Nothing you make is public. When you share a move or a class, you create a link that anyone holding it can open for seven days. After that it stops working. A copy someone saves to their own library is theirs.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. Delete a move, a class or your whole account from the app and it is removed from our database and storage. Backups roll over within 30 days.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Most of this you can do in the app; for the rest, email us.

Children

Pasoteca is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
